They then begin to talk about the recent situation with Dave Chappelle with his Netflix special. They get into how people take jokes too seriously and how everyone should be able to take a joke when it comes to comedians. Episode 97 | ”Pause...”

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys recap their Christmas before Rod provides some interesting what would you do scenarios. One of them essentially is what you would do if the world had 7 months left before it ends. The Guys go back and forth on the matter before getting into the next scenario which is what would you do if your son's girlfriend tried to make an advance on you. The Guys then revisit a statement Denzel made a few episodes ago which prompts Denzel to provide some clarity on it. Rod then brings up some comments Dr. Umar made recently about Eminem not being the best in rap because he is white. This sparks Denzel to go on a hilarious rant on Dr. Umar. The Guys wrap up the episode by recapping the year of the podcast and what is to come in 2024 with the YouTube channel. Happy New Year to all of you!

They start off with a conversation about Destiny and his wife divorcing after having an open relationship. The Guys give their opinions on open relationships and discuss some of the issues that come with having a relationship like that. They also get into cheaters and how that can destroy your outlook on relationships. They also discuss the honeymoon phase and how most people think their entire relationship will be like that. they really dive into the mental fortitude you must have with a relationship in 2023. The Guys then get into a viral TikTok about how black kids want to act like their are from the hood because that’s all the see/hear on media. This sparks a deep conversation about growing up black and not being from the hood and how that isn’t truly accepted when you were growing up.
