Episode 106 | "How I Met Your Mother"

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys talk how the stories of “how I met your mother” will be different going forward because of social media. They go into how the stories are going to be different from how our parent’s stories were. Rod then tells the Guys about a conversation he had with his friend who says that he doesn’t feel like he is ready to be a father even though Rod believes he is a good guy. The Guys then give their takes on if they personally feel if they are ready for fatherhood. They also talk about a viral video of a mother disciplining here son by hitting him in front of his teachers and this sparks the conversation of how to discipline your kids. The Guys go back and forth on how they believe a kid should be disciplined and some of the consequences of specific parenting styles. Episode 105 | "Happy Wife, Happy Life"

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys kick the episode off with the recent passing of the inventor of the Pop-Tart. They celebrate his life by listing off some of their favorite Pop- Tart flavors with some honorable mentions. The conversation then transitions into if they had super powers how would they act. They then get into the NBA All Star weekend and how it’s seems to be losing its light as the years progress. They also discuss some of the controversy behind All Star Weekend with Ruffles, who is a sponsor of the event, not wanting Chris Brown to participate in the celebrity game because of his past. The Guys share their opinions before getting into a viral tweet depicting some of the double standards that happen between men and women when it comes to abuse in relationships. This sparks a deep conversation amongst the Guys about listening to your partner’s wants and needs in a relationship and seeking help when abuse is present in one. On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys kick off the episode with the Super Bowl. The Guys share their thoughts on it and go over some of the controversial moments of the game. They then highlight the halftime show and discuss how much of a MENACE Usher is. The conversation then shifts into the response Usher's performance with Alicia Keys. They discuss some of the inconsistencies and double standards that people had with their responses. They then switch the topic over to an insane take a woman had on a different podcast. They go over the "cost" of dating and how superficial some people are when looking for what they want in a relationship. Terrell then goes off on some of the stupid takes people have with their podcasts. They then transition into another topic that blew up on social media which is the topic of men painting their nails. They then some how get into some WWE talk and rappers/celebrities joining the cast of wrestlers. They transition into talking about YouTube getting rid of adblock on their platform. The Guys then get into a back and forth on Gen Z aging more rapidly than millennials. This sparks the Guys to compare both generations and go over some of the responsibilities that get passed down through the generations. They then talk about if being a mommas boy is a red flag and how parents need to let go of their children’s hands. They wrap the episode with a heated exchange on how millennials make the 90s their personality and they talk Michael Jordan vs Lebron James.

Episode 99 ”Til Death Do Us Part”

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys start the episode with some chicken sandwich talk. The Guys debate whether PDQ has a better chicken sandwich than Chic-fil-a. The Guys kick off the episode with their first topic which is a viral video of some guys pouring up lean at a Top Golf. The Guys then get into a CRAZY situation that went viral on the TL of a woman outing a man for spreading STDs while knowing he has them. The Guys also go over the fact the guy came out and said that she was lying about it all and the Guys discuss how that is going to affect situations on the TL later down the road. Then the Guys get into a heated back and forth about celibacy and how Sommer Ray and Glorilla are announcing that they are saving themselves until marriage. They discuss how celebrities announcing their celibacy could be a finesse for attention. They also go over whether they would date someone who is celibate. Episode 97 | ”Pause...”

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys recap their Christmas before Rod provides some interesting what would you do scenarios. One of them essentially is what you would do if the world had 7 months left before it ends. The Guys go back and forth on the matter before getting into the next scenario which is what would you do if your son's girlfriend tried to make an advance on you. The Guys then revisit a statement Denzel made a few episodes ago which prompts Denzel to provide some clarity on it. Rod then brings up some comments Dr. Umar made recently about Eminem not being the best in rap because he is white. This sparks Denzel to go on a hilarious rant on Dr. Umar. The Guys wrap up the episode by recapping the year of the podcast and what is to come in 2024 with the YouTube channel. Happy New Year to all of you!
