Episode 126 | "World Champions"

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys start the episode off with a reaction to one of Drake's new songs "It's Up". The Guys discuss their opinions on the track and go into how Drake's new music is being received. They then go into his discography and they begin to talk about his album covers and how lack luster they have always been. This leads the Guys to share some of their favorite album covers of all time. They then get into some of the backlash the opening ceremony of the Olympics has received on Twitter. This leads the Guys to talk about Twitter’s reaction to Noah Lyles getting a gold medal after Team USA suffered a loss to Brazil in basketball. This sparks the Guys to go on a rant regarding the comments Noah Lyles made towards the NBA a few years back. The Guys wrap the episode with Kai’s cameraman getting caught texting a 17 year old girl.

Episode 122 | "Fall From Grace"

On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys kick the episode off with Kendrick Lamar's video for "Not Like Us". They dive into some of the imagery that Kendrick put in the video and discuss what this means for the Drake and Kendrick beef. They also discuss some of the rumors floating around about Drake releasing another track aimed towards Kendrick. They then segue into the Sketch situation and how his it effects his career going forward. This sparks the conversation of fans getting too invested with their favorite celebrities and content creators. The Guys then get into some of the backlash that Sketch has been getting from other creators. They then get into the Ryan Garcia situation and how drastic his fall from grace has been. They discuss some of the consequences that your words have specifically when you are in the limelight. On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys talk boot camp and Rod’s back ground in the Airforce. They then begin to talk about a viral TikTok of a father arguing with his baby mother’s boyfriend over him taking his son to the barbershop without him knowing. This sparks a conversation about trying to be the father who stepped up and dealing with some of the cons that come your girl having a toxic baby daddy. The Guys then talk about the BET Awards and some of the controversy behind it regarding Taraji P. Henson and Keith Lee. They talk about some of their gripes when it comes to the award show and how big artist no longer attend. Terrell also goes on a rant about Taraji P. Henson doing a “Not Like Us” parody performance during the show.

The Guys debate whether or not the principal was in the wrong for allowing this to happen or not. On this episode of the Just the Guys Podcast, the Guys talk on the recent update on the Diddy situation. They share some of their thoughts on the matter and speak on abuse as a whole. This leads the Guys to also talk about a content creator who got arrested for abusing his girlfriend.
